RESCUING FOOD,
FIGHTING HUNGER
Liberation Larder has a simple mission...
We rescue food from becoming waste.
We prepare food for people who need it.

We're a registered local Byron Bay charity, 100% led & operated by volunteers who prepare & serve over 1,000 meals every week, along with a range of snacks, pantry items & fresh produce to those who need it most within our community.
We're in our kitchen at 42 Fletcher St, Byron Bay (behind the Byron Community Centre) from 7am - 2pm every Monday & Thursday.
We provide a light style breakfast between 7am - 9am & cooked takeaway meals, snacks & produce between 12pm - 2pm.
Our menus vary based on what food donations we receive, however our focus is always on trying to provide healthy & tasty food. We also provide some vegetarian options.

Your Support, Our Work...
Together
We believe every Australian deserves access to delicious, nutritious meals.
Food insecurity, fuelled by a housing crisis & the rising cost of living, is a growing issue in Byron Bay & throughout the Northern Rivers.
Our services are essential for our clients.
Our work would not be possible without our incredible volunteers & the many generous individuals, businesses & organisations in our local community who support us with donations of food, produce & pantry items, as well as critical financial donations & other types of support.
Because Liberation Larder is a 100% volunteer led & operated local charity, every dollar & every piece of food or item donated, goes directly towards our mission of fighting food insecurity for individuals & families who need it most in our local Byron Bay region.
As the challenge continues to grow, more than ever we need your generous support of food & financial donations which help cover operating expenses & food staples.
Donations of $2 or more are tax deductible.
